Rebate & Incentive Mechanics

What Is a Tiered Rebate?

A tiered rebate pays at increasing rates as a partner crosses defined tiers of volume, growth or revenue - for example, 2% up to one level, 3% above it, 4% above the next. Tiers can apply to the full amount once a level is reached, or only to the portion within each band, depending on the program's design.

Why it matters to IT channel partners. Tiered structures create high-value decision points: the jump from one tier to the next can be worth far more than the incremental purchase that triggers it. Knowing where you sit against every tier, and what the next one is worth, is how partners decide which orders to pull forward.

Both designs exist. Some programs re-rate your entire volume at the higher tier; others pay each band at its own rate. The program rules decide.
