What Is a Global System Integrator (GSI)?
A GSI, or global system integrator, is a large system integrator that designs and delivers technology solutions across multiple countries and regions for major enterprise customers. GSIs run at the top of the channel, managing strategic relationships with many vendors and delivering complex, multi-product solutions at international scale.
Why it matters to IT channel partners. A GSI's scale and breadth create the largest rebate exposure in the channel - many vendors, many regions, many program currencies and rules. Tracking what's earned across every vendor, geography and project is a substantial task, and the difference between partial and full capture is significant money at GSI volumes.
