What Is Tier Status?
Tier status is the level a partner currently holds within a vendor's partner program - such as Authorized, Gold, Platinum or Titanium. It reflects whether the partner still meets that tier's requirements, and because each tier carries its own rebate rates, discounts and benefits, tier status is a live measure of how much the partner can earn right now.
Why it matters to IT channel partners. Tier status is not fixed; it can rise or fall as targets are met and certifications expire. A partner that loses status drops to lower rebate and pricing bands across everything it buys from that vendor, often before anyone notices. Watching tier status against the requirements that hold it is how a partner protects its earnings. Rebates-On shows your status against every tier you sell.

FAQ
Yes. If a partner falls below a tier's revenue or certification requirements, the vendor can demote it - lowering the rebates and pricing tied to the higher tier.
