What Is Partner Tier Attainment?

Partner tier attainment measures a partner's progress toward reaching or maintaining a vendor's program tier - gauged by how its purchasing, certifications and other requirements compare against each tier's thresholds. It is often expressed as the gap, in dollars or requirements, to the next tier or to holding the current one.

Why it matters to partners. Tier sets the rebate band, discounts and benefits, so moving up or slipping down directly changes rebate income. Measuring attainment shows exactly how far you are from the next tier - and whether you are at risk of falling out of your current one - so you can act on the purchasing or certification gap while there is still time to close it.

Yes - tiers are reassessed against requirements, so falling short on purchasing or letting certifications lapse can drop you to a lower tier and rebate band.
