What Is CPOR (Claiming Partner of Record)?
CPOR (Claiming Partner of Record) is the Microsoft attribution mechanism that credits a partner for influencing usage and adoption of specific workloads - such as Microsoft 365, Copilot and Power Platform. By submitting a CPOR claim against a customer workload, the partner becomes recognized and eligible for the associated usage and adoption incentives.
It matters because if a CPOR claim is never filed, the incentive is silently forfeited even when the partner did the work that earned it.
