MDF & Co-op Funds

What Is a Co-branded Campaign?

A co-branded campaign is a marketing activity that carries both the channel partner's and the vendor's branding - an email, event, landing page or ad - usually funded by MDF or co-op. It pairs the vendor's brand and assets with the partner's local relationships to drive demand for the vendor's products.

Why it matters to IT channel partners. Co-branded campaigns are the most common way partners put marketing funds to work, so they sit at the center of most MDF and co-op claims. The campaign must follow the vendor's brand and program rules to qualify, and the assets it produces often double as proof of performance for the claim.

Often the vendor, through MDF or co-op, with the partner executing it locally - though cost-sharing arrangements vary by program.
