What Is Portal Data Extraction?

Portal data extraction is the practice of pulling rebate-relevant data - balances, targets, tier status, claims and payments - out of vendor portals that offer no API, so it can be ingested, normalized and used alongside your other data. It is how partners capture program data that would otherwise be locked inside a vendor's interface.

Why it matters to partners. Many vendor portals were built for viewing, not exporting. Re-keying their numbers into a spreadsheet by hand is slow and introduces errors that quietly distort the rebate picture. Structured extraction gets that data into your single source of truth reliably, so portals that have no API still feed your consolidated view.

Because each portal shows one vendor in isolation. Extraction lets that data join everything else in one comparable, auditable view.
