What Is Missed Rebate Value?

Missed rebate value is the dollar amount of rebate a partner was eligible to earn but failed to capture in a given period. It is calculated as rebate eligible − rebate captured. It is the dollar counterpart to capture rate: where capture rate is the percentage, missed rebate value is the money.

Why it matters to partners. Leakage is invisible by nature - you don't see the money you didn't get. Putting a dollar figure on it makes the cost of inaction concrete and fundable. Breaking missed value down by cause - missed thresholds, lapsed certifications, unclaimed funds, underpayments - shows exactly where to intervene first for the biggest recovery.

Some is - disputes on underpayments and late-but-open claims can be recovered. Much is preventable going forward by tracking targets and deadlines before they pass.
