Partner Programs & Tiers

What Is a Certification Audit?

A certification audit is a structured check of the certifications a partner holds against the requirements of every tier it depends on - confirming where the partner is compliant, exposing where it falls short, and verifying that credentials are correctly attributed and current. It is how a partner proves its standing and finds gaps before a vendor's review does.

Why it matters to IT channel partners. Audits happen on the vendor's schedule, but a partner that audits itself first controls the outcome. A regular internal certification audit catches lapsed credentials, mis-attributed learner IDs and role gaps while there is time to fix them - protecting the tier and the rebates riding on it. Rebates-On keeps an audit-ready view of compliance at all times.

It can be the vendor, at a review or anniversary date, or the partner internally. Self-auditing first lets a partner fix gaps before the vendor's check sets the tier.
